Poppy has a lovely nature, is very friendly. Always curious to see what is happening in the paddock, she is always there to greet you. She has good bone and is producing good suri traits in her cria. Her current male cria by Nordica is displaying excellent suri traits. 

Progeny

Poppy is a proven breeder with several registered progeny. She has previously given birth to twins. Her cria in 2015 is Dalilah, sired by Surico Ranaldo, thus maintaining the fawn colouring. This cria has now been sold to breeders in the South Island. Her 2017 cria is a male Woody, light fawn.

Breeding

Sire: Surilana Parsifal. Imported from Peru in 2000 from Don Julio Berreda's Accoyo herd,  Parsifal is one of our 'Supreme Sires'. He consistently breeds true to type suri progeny that exhibit excellent fleece traits in lustre, handle, independence and architecture of lock, and coverage. Parsifal has sired numerous show champions and supremes.

Dam; Her dam Surico Honey, a lovely honey coloured fawn, hence her name has produced a variety of shades of fawn. Honey's parentage of a darker dam and sire gives this line colour in the pedigree.
