Nordica is light fawn with fawn in his background, most of his maternal siblings are also light fawn. He has density and lustre, a great choice for adding those qualities to coloured females. He has been shown along with Surico Walkinshaw and won sires progeny awards, they are very similar in characteristics and quality. He has also won many individual ribbons, highlighted at Hawkes Bay 2012 by winning Champion Light Fawn then going on to win Supreme Suri..

Breeding

Sire: Surilana Mr B ET, is an outstanding male having both the breeding and the attributes to make him a truly great suri. He has a rich and lustrous fleece that is dense and silky to handle. When seeing seeing him at the AAA National Show in 2007 we just had to have him, his breeding was exactly what we were looking for and he looked the part as well. He went on to win Supreme Suri. His dam "Ma Belle", a full Accoyo female was imported to Australia from Peru and has produced a string of exceptional offspring. His sire "Bosisto" also imported to Australia from Accoyo in 2001, make his genetics rare in NZ and complement those already here.

Dam: Surico Meribel [light fawn] has several award winning progeny. She has also won broad ribbons including a championship at National level. Her sire is Surilana Parsifal and dam is Surico Andorra [light fawn] Meribel is a good mother, births well and has a silky light fawn fleece exhibiting all the desired suri traits. Her progeny have all been part of the Surico show team.
