Firebird is a splendid young male with a dependable pedigree. His fleece carries all the important suri traits of fineness, density, lustre and handle. He is light fawn shading to darker on his head, indicating colour in his genetics. He is a handsome, well built, sturdy young male. 

 

Breeding

Sire; Surilana Parsifal can only be described as unique, he has an amazing line up of progeny to his name which are unsurpassed in the show ring. His reputation is exceptional in producing impressive offspring.

Dam; Surico Ballerina has a string of noteable offpring who have excelled in the show ring, Surico Corsaire, Surico Firebird, Surico Coppelia and Surico Giselle have all been successful members of the Surico Show team. Her 2015 cria, Surico Bolero, is an absolute stunner and will head our new seasons show team. Ballerina was the 2007 National Supreme Champion Suri as a senior. Her dam, Surico Silken Melody and sire, Kaihere Acco Brilliante have both been major contributors to the excellence of the Surico herd.

Silvertail Descendants

Surico Trailblazer is ready to work, his sire is Surilana Silvertail and dam is Surico Trendsetter, an amazing female with an amazing fleece. Trailblazer was awarded Supreme Suri Fleece at 2022 National Show and Rotorua A&P. He was Supreme Champion Suri in the breed at Waikato and Rotorua A&P shows for 2022

Surico Carlisle also ready to work, sire also Silvertail but his dam is Surico Gloriata a tried and true Surico female. His fleece won Champion LF at Rotorua, acolour show. Reserve Champion Senior male at the National and Champion Senior Male and Light Fawn Champion at Waikato, all in 2022

Surico MrInBetween another keen to work by Silvertail, his dam is Surico Alouette a dark fawn female who has produced some great offspring to different sires. His fleece came in second to Carlisle at both Rotorua and Waikakato Shows in 2022.

Silvertails progeny, coupled with Surico dams are exhibiting some great fleece traits, exceptional fleece length, great density and exquisit handle.
