Breeding
Sire: Kaihere Accoyo Brilliante is a male of distinction, exhibiting a highly lustrous fleece, true to his name. He was bred by Don Julio Bereda at his Accoyo estanza in Peru. Brilliante has a long and celebrated history in NZ and for Surico having sired numerous Supreme Champions and Champion suri around NZ. His daughter, Surico Ballerina won Supreme Suri at the New Zealand Nationals in 2007 and Surico Mantovani won the same coveted trophy in 2009.
Dam: Surico Monet was sired by Surilana Parsifal one of our 'Supreme Sires'. He consistently breeds true to type suri progeny that exhibit excellent fleece traits in lustre, handle, independence and architecture of lock, and coverage. Parsifal has sired numerous show champions and supreme champions [Surico Yulia 2005 AANZ National and Surico Onedin 2010 AANZ National]. Her dam "Star" is one of our most prolific females, her progeny consistently display the desired suri traits and several of her progeny have won multiple Championships and Supremes. Monet has several Supreme Championships to her name. She has excellent conformation and all the fleece characteristics needed to make a superb suri.
